Lisa Henderson Schoonover is an Executive Vice President of Silver Commercial Brokerage. She joined Silver Companies in 2001. Previous to her current position, Ms. Schoonover was Director, Commercial Sales and Leasing for the Silver Companies. Over the past ten years, she has specialized in negotiating contracts and leases with some of the leading national tenants, as well as countless local tenants. Phillip J. Baxter is an Executive Vice President of Silver Commercial Brokerage. He joined Silver Companies in 2000. Previous to his current position, he was Vice President of Commercial Office Sales & Leasing, Silver Companies, and negotiated contracts and leases with many of the leading global defense contractors for the new Quantico Corporate Center in Stafford, Virginia. David Newman is a Senior Sales Associate for Silver Commercial Brokerage. He joined Silver Companies in 2005. He holds the concurrent position of Vice President, Quantico Corporate Center, a commercial office development in Stafford, Virginia, and an entity of the Silver Companies. Mr. Newman specializes in commercial office sales and leasing and has completed transactions with some of the leading global defense corporations in the United States. J.R. Burdette is a Senior Sales Associate for Silver Commercial Brokerage. He rejoined the Silver Companies in 2006 as the Acquisitions Agent and as a Project Manager with duties expanding into sales and leasing. Mr. Burdette started his real estate career in 1983 with one of Silver's Land and Timber companies as a sales agent and later became the Acquisitions Manager. From 1987 until 2006 he was the Owner and President of MBM Land Sales, Inc. which operated in the Fredericksburg, Virginia, area and surrounding counties and also in southwest Florida. Prior to working in real estate, he served three years in the U.S. Army as a Military Police Investigator and provided personal security for the Deputy Commander In Chief of NATO stationed at Stuttgart, Germany. Ms. Friend provides a wide range of administrative and office support activities for the company, as well as organizing and coordinating office operations and procedures. Prior to joining Silver Companies, Ms. Friend served as the Executive Assistant to the President of the Fredericksburg Regional Chamber of Commerce, Administrative Assistant to the Washington representative of The Coastal Corporation, and Staff Assistant to the Office of Congressional Liaison, U.S. Army Materiel Command. Peggy Winters is the Property Manager for Silver Commercial Brokerage. She joined Silver Companies in 2002. Ms. Winters is responsible for compiling and maintaining records, reports and files on all company properties and listings as well as serving as the company's primary liaison with property owners on all property management matters. Prior to joining Silver Companies, Ms. Winters was a realtor for Fawn Lake Real Estate. Since joining Silver Companies, Ms. Winters has been an active participant in the Rappahannock United Way campaigns, as well as serving as a member of the Silver Foundation Board. Tony Perez is an Associate Broker with Silver Commercial Brokerage. He began began his career in the selling of residential and commercial property working for Coldwell Banker in 1987. He quickly expanded his knowledge of residential and commercial real estate by working with the Resolution Trust Corporation (RTC) in conjunction with the offices of Congressman Frank Wolf and Senator John Warner. In this effort he assisted in determining market values, identifying alternate financing options, and implementing marketing strategies, in order to facilitate the liquidation of hundreds of assets, formerly held by various savings and loan institutions. In 1998 Mr. Perez was invited to work with Terra Company as a Realty Specialist on the Woodrow Wilson Bridge Project, one of the largest public works projects in the mid-Atlantic region.
